Completed in May 2026, this East York bathroom renovation transformed the entire space in approximately two weeks. Neo Renovations completed a full update, creating a brighter, more streamlined bathroom while keeping the same practical footprint.
The Starting Point
The original bathroom had a warm, traditional look, with wood cabinetry, beige tile across the floor and walls, chrome finishes and an enclosed tub and shower area.
The renovation moved the space toward a lighter, more contemporary look, while keeping the same practical footprint.
Because the project was a complete renovation, the team also had the opportunity to improve how the room was lit and how the main elements were positioned within the space.

Opening Up the Space
As the renovation progressed, sections of the walls were opened to complete the work needed for the new bathroom.
The project photos show the plumbing and wall preparation taking place before the room was closed back up. Additional wood support was installed inside the wall for the new floating double sink vanity, helping ensure it could be securely mounted in the correct position.
This stage also gave the team the opportunity to reposition the wall light and electrical outlets so they would align properly with the new mirrors and vanity.

Bringing the New Design Together
Once the preparation work was complete, the new bathroom began to take shape.
The room received new floor tile and tile baseboards, a new bathtub and updated shower tile, along with new shower controls and taps.
The traditional vanity was replaced with a floating double sink vanity paired with two mirrors and black faucets. A new toilet, towel bars and other finishing details completed the update.
The lighting was also redesigned. The original off-center potlight was removed and replaced with three potlights positioned along the ceiling, creating more even light throughout the room.

The Finished Bathroom
The finished space feels noticeably lighter and more open.
The white and soft grey surfaces create a cleaner backdrop, while the darker shower tile and black fixtures add contrast. The floating vanity keeps the floor visually open and the matching mirrors help give the vanity wall a more balanced appearance.
As the renovation progressed, the new layout and finishes began to take shape, bringing the different elements of the space together.

Completed in Approximately Two Weeks
Neo Renovations completed the bathroom renovation in approximately two weeks.
From opening the walls and preparing the new installations to completing the tile, fixtures, lighting and final details, the project moved from the original bathroom to the finished space within a relatively short renovation timeline.
Every bathroom project is different, but this East York renovation shows how good planning and coordination can bring a complete transformation together efficiently.
